Elections 

NHABA Board Members are elected by eligible members. Anyone may submit a nomination for an open position here. 

The nomination period is open from October 24th, 2025 through November 7th, 2025. Nominations will not be accepted after 11:59 pm on November 7th, 2025. 

Open Positions- October 2025

President-Elect

The President-Elect serves for one (1) year, alongside the sitting President, in preparation for serving as President in years two and three. 

The President-Elect shall:

  • Familiarize themselves with Board members, priorities, and initiatives

  • Coordinate with the current President to ensure continuity of mission

  • Chair or otherwise serve on a committee and report status updates to the Board

  • Attend all scheduled meetings unless otherwise discussed with an Officer




Frontline Support Professional

The Frontline Support Professional Representative is a new position for NHABA. We invite a member of our community to represent all of those who deliver direct services. This position is open to paraprofessional level providers only (such as BTs, RBTs, paraeducators, and similar).

The Frontline Support Professional Representative will be given the option, upon accepting a nomination, of serving a one (1) or two (2) year term. 

As a non-officer, the Frontline Support Professional Representative will represent the interests of those providing direct services in New Hampshire, while fulfilling the general duties of a Board member:

  • Bring to the attention of the Board and the members such matters as are deemed necessary for the appropriate operation of the organization

  • Attend all scheduled meetings unless otherwise discussed with an Officer

  • Be familiar with NHABA bylaws

  • Represent and promote NHABA 

  • Review meeting agendas in advance of and meeting minutes following Board and committee meetings

  • Chair or otherwise serve on a committee and report status updates to the Board

  • Ensure a smooth transition with incoming Board members as required for their respective positions

  • Complete any tasks as assigned and on time

  • Review and provide input on all relevant prepared reports presented before them
